Jesus - why so far out? I used to drive a Volvo V60 before I had the Kona. I might have considered another Volvo if they had an EV in a model and trim that I wanted, but it just seemed like they were moving too slowly.
I think Volvo's working on developing a proper supply chain first before mass manufacturing EV's. I'm sure they want to avoid all of the safety and supply chain issues Hyundai, GM, Ford, and others have been having. In other words, they're being very Swedish.
