My wife and I were dining at a sidewalk cafe and our Kona was parked across the street. I made the comment that it looks like a baby limo because of the rear tinted glass. Further stating that I thought it was a peculiar feature of the car. I then started looking at all the cars parked next to it, they were all newer models, and they too had rear tinted glass. Our 2015 Q5 does not have this feature. Is this something new in car design?
Our 2014 Leaf has factory rear tinted windows. I expect this goes back even further depending on the manufacturer.
