I second this although I live in Maryland. Got our Juicebox installed March 2021 and had zero problems. Sometime we charge in the garage sometimes out. No problems charging in all types of weather.

I really like the plug-in factor since in theory we can take the charger with us, if we ever travel to a ‘far off land.’ As long as they have the NEMA 14-50 outlet we are good to go.

Mine is in the garage, about halfway down a side wall, which leaves me about 8 feet of cable in front of the garage door. I put a second holster outside the door, so I can just back in and charge without needing to move anything around inside the cluttered garage. But with the sudden change to a wintry forecast, I decided to order a boot for the charging port. H/t to @figbat and @Sushi over on the UK MINIF56 forum for leading me to the cheap, magnetized boot on Amazon.

Was Juice box the one that got ran over it by a truck, thrown it into the snow, sprayed with water, was used at -20 -40F to demonstrate the flexibility of the charging cable, used in a couple Canadian outdoor events, dunked in a lake ...... or was that the Grissl-E 40A marketing? :)
