I purchase my ID 4 about month ago. After reviewing several EV chargers. I purchased the Wall Box Electric Vehicle(EV) Home charger. The EV charger is unable to connect wirelessly. I am able to connect via Bluetooth. I went to the vender website for support of the Wall Box charger. The site say open port 80 and UDP 123. I know port 80 if for the internet. While UDP 123 is for NTP. I know port 80 is open because I have access to the internet. While UDP 123 is for NTP. Has anyone encounter this issue with the Wall Box?
How good is you phone WiFi connection when standing next to the box? Perhaps you need to boost your WiFi with a range extender?
Hello everyone I just received theses instruction from the Wall Box Tech Support. Happy to say I am now able to connect to my Home WiFI with no issues. Once I was able to connect to my WI-FI updating to the latest software version was not an issue. Log into the MyWallbox App Click your charger Click the gear icon in the top right Select Installation Options Select the Restore option The restoration is now processing, please wait until the loading bar is completed and the mention “Your charger has been restored” appears. Then please update the charger: Please make sure to be connected via Bluetooth Log into your MyWallbox app Select your charger Hit the gear icon in the top right Select charger information You will see charger version Select and you will see an option to update Follow Prompts
