VW basically says hydrogen cars are not a priority

    Motor1 cites Automotive News about VW's decision to delay or even cancel the roll out of fuel cell cars. Audi will have a production model eventually, but that's all that VAG is willing to share right now.

    The reasoning behind this decision has to do with the fact VAG is going all in with investments in EVs and it basically doesn't have the money to do both at the same time. Of course, Dieselgate is also a factor and so far the costs tally up to about $30 billion. Yes, with a "b."

    Even without dieslgate, producing both types of vehicles seems to be unreasonable and counterproductive. It splits their share of the market, competing with themselves
