On October 24th, 2021, we set a new world record in St-Hyacinthe, in the province of Québec, for the longest parade of pure electric cars. We blew away the original number of 402 with a grand total of 733 electric cars! I was not supposed to make a video about the event and was supposed to just participate, but once on site I could not resist so I pulled out my cell phone and saved some dashcam footage to throw this video together. I hope you enjoy it, I had lots of fun being there.
Thanks for documenting that, it looked otherwise underreported or I'm keeping track of the wrong news! However, this may have been outdone a few years prior? https://insideevs.com/news/333453/new-world-record-set-as-746-electric-vehicles-drive-in-procession-in-the-netherlands-video/ and possibly other events, findable by searching for "guinness" "electric vehicles" "drive" ... There seems to be a bir of debate swirling around the numbers across these things... _H*
Actually, the record we set was for 100% BEV cars only; no buses, motorcycles, bikes, etc, only cars. You are correct though, it was not mentioned much in the media other than locally, which is disappointing.
