Ugh. Boke bottom plastic protective plate/guard/shield. How bad is it to drive?

It's a long term Uber rental. I really don't want to have to deal with bringing it back to the rental place if I don't have to.

I drove into a parking space that contained a watermelon sized snow chunk I thought I could plow over it. Turns out the snow was frozen harder than a fraggle rock and destroyed the bottom plastic covering like the titanic hitting an iceberg.

There's a hole or two. Water and salt is gonna get in there. How big of a deal is this?

I guess my question is... How important is that plastic guard? Is it like a regular car splash guard, or is it VERY IMPORTANT and protects all the electric parts from shorting out.

  4. It's to minimise wind resistance. Nothing's going to short out.

  5. Lots of extra plastic underneath compared to an ICE car. As long as it's not dragging or about to fall off, it'll be fine.
