I bought out my lease of the 2018 Clarity Base model. While I was happy with the sound of the OEM speakers, I think I'm ready for an upgrade now I own the car. Can anyone suggest the best speakers/sound upgrade to my car? I'd like to keep my budget under $600 if possible?
I've narrowed down to these from Crutchfield (links are clickable), any thoughts? Focal Performance PS 165V1 $520 JL Audio C2-600 $330 JL Audio C2650 $330 Infinity Kappa 60csx $250
The biggest bang for your buck upgrade is going to be installing Honda Hack and using the additional sound tuning it provides. I'd say start there and see if it gets the sound where you want it to be. One thing to note is that the tuning adjustments don't apply to CarPlay audio.
I have the Infinity Kappa's in my Pontiac G8 and they were a big upgrade over the OEM. Pretty efficient too and a good value. No experience with any of the others you mentioned.
