I bought out my lease of the 2018 Clarity Base model. While I was happy with the sound of the OEM speakers, I think I'm ready for an upgrade now I own the car.

Can anyone suggest the best speakers/sound upgrade to my car?

I'd like to keep my budget under $600 if possible?

I read through that long thread. There doesn't seem be consensus on the definitive recommendation?

Do you have to purchase additional rear speakers?

I'm single so I will not be changing any rear speakers

Doesn't every speaker contribute to the audio environment?

The biggest bang for your buck upgrade is going to be installing Honda Hack and using the additional sound tuning it provides. I'd say start there and see if it gets the sound where you want it to be.

One thing to note is that the tuning adjustments don't apply to CarPlay audio.

I have the Infinity Kappa's in my Pontiac G8 and they were a big upgrade over the OEM. Pretty efficient too and a good value. No experience with any of the others you mentioned.
