I saw this story on the Tesla Motors Club forum, and although it was not the first time we have heard stories like this, it is a bummer that Tesla needs to control the supply of parts, and is so inept even with Model S that has been in production for 6 years. This person has paid over 7K in lease payments and insurance for a car that is just sitting in the shop because it does not have 3 parts. This would be unimaginable with any other brand of production car. It sounds like this customer has already escalated, but only offer is free service on a new Tesla, are you joking? If that car was mine, I would have paid for a flat bed to haul it to Fremont, dump it outside the front door of the Tesla Factory, called my lease company and told them where it is, and why I dropped it off, and stopped making payments. https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/threads/a-word-of-warning-for-potential-tesla-owners.127102/ Maybe that is the story behind this beauty?
