Is it safe to use Tesla charging station with an adapter?
The other question is if it safe to leave a non-Tesla car plugged into a Tesla charging station when an overzealous Tesla owner shows up?
I'd seen a lot of Tesla charging in non-Tesla charging stations ... I don't think they would mind if we use Tesla chargers if we can.
Is there an adapter?
TeslaTap - Tesla to J-1772 Adapter https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0754YX3NH/ref=cm_sw_r_other_taa_cJ1EBbYR3W3VH
It says it does not work on the super charging network so do some research first.
Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/142905340114
This would be for destination chargers like at hotels.
I don't plan on using it on Tesla superchargers ... at least not until they come out with an adapter for them. As for the eBay link, thanks. I think it's the same manufacturer as in Amazon --- TeslaTap.
ebay seller mentions is not compatible with Pacifica and does not mention if it works with Clarity. So why not the Pacifica?
