I recently saw a CNBC report (See at end) about EPA testing of electric cars and the 'light came on:' mandatory City cycle mandatory Highway cycle optional High temperature cycle - improved octovalve HVAC and heat pump optional Low temperature cycle - improved octovalve HVAC and heat pump optional Aggressive driving cycle - high regeneration optional lower performance penalty CNBC only cited the last, 'performance penalty'. But we know Tesla has improved heat management, a heat pump, and always had aggressive regenerative braking. The honorable competition, not so much. Bob Wilson
