I have a 2018 Clarity Plugin with 25k miles and live in southern California. I noticed squealing today while I was stopping and going through a drive thru. The car still has the original brake pads since I bought the car in 2018 and it should last a long time due to the regenerative braking. Also I got an oil change recently and I assume they would tell me if the brake pads need replacement. Anyone else noticed any brake squealing on a Clarity with 25k miles or less?
Mine do squeal right after I washed the car and let it sit overnight. Surface rust. A few applications of the brakes clears it off.
