  1. I agree. And that is how it works. It is a cruse control to be used on whys, not a strop and go control.

  4. yes that's true, when behind a moving car in front of you, ie your are both cruising down the hway.
    so car in front stops, YOU stop, car in front moves of ,your car moves of as well

  6. I think the operative word is "Cruise". As in cruising down the highway at a relatively constant speed. Because SCC has some smarts it can extend its speed control/distance measuring capability to help you stop if the traffic ahead slows markedly or even stops.

    Driving in urban traffic at constantly variable speeds with frequent stops and random traffic interruptions is not "cruising". Using SCC in that environment is outside the design parameters, IMHO, and likely to end in tears at bed time.

    Well, urban slow/go is also referred to as "cruising" sometimes, but in a rather different context.
