The new 2018 Nissan LEAF has a similarly plush ride, so it should do at least as well as the original. The Tesla Model 3 is definitely tuned for more sportier driving.
The cup of liquid is a great visual, but I can't help thinking of the cup of soy milk that Takumi Fujiwara's dad would put in his 86 when he's making his tofu delivery runs.
