Tesla said they will be the first users of the Tesla Semi. I wonder if that might be way before production and we could see at least one or two this year? Maybe a few more in 2018 for real world testing? That would be great and catching a few pictures when it happens would really be cool. Do you think it's possible? What date could it start?

(The link InsideEVs post above has a 4:24 minute segment of the full presentation) Interestingly, he also mentions that the target payload is to equal other trucks. What I believe that means is that they are aiming to make the Tesla Semi tractor about equal in weight to a diesel one.
