I’ve been shopping around to lease a Bolt. What is the lowest I should expect to get on the selling price? The best quote I’ve gotten thus far is $32,000. Is it worth negotiating it down more?
Does this 32k you mentioned come with any packages? I got a 2019 Bolt LT, Nightfall Gray Metallic, with “Comfort and Convenience package”, “Driver Confidence package” and DC fast-charging on 12/15 in New York, for US$ 3,000 down, 350/month on a 36 months lease (10K miles year). The $32,000 quote is for the base car with no packages. I also got a quote on one with the Comfort and Convenience package and the Dealer Protection package for $33,500.
What’s “dealer protection package”? drop that and take the DC fast charging instead and you should be good to go ... Sent from my iPhone using Inside EVs
The salesman just said it was floormats which I found ridiculous. I got an even better quote for $31,500 with the fast charger and a few other options.
Samuel, may I ask what dealer you got those base quotes from (32K and 31.5K)? I have just started shopping in California and local dealers are substantially higher, even for base LT model.
I’m in Rochester, NY. However I did find out that both of those quotes were deceptive. They quoted me the cap cost after rebates even though I asked for the selling price which I assumed they understood that to mean before rebates. However, I think a dealer is going to agree to $33,000 before rebates.
So the final deal was $33,000 selling price. Then I got $5750 in rebates and $1500 equity in my old car. The payment will be $292 with no money down.
