My name is Ted Nachazel and I work for Michigan Scientific Corporation. We are an engineering firm in Milford, Michigan. We provide the automotive industry with test equipment and services. We are selecting a small sample of Kia Niro EV owners across the USA for a program that we are doing to help auto companies improve the durability and reliability of their vehicles. We started the study with participants in California and Colorado. We are now looking for participants in Arizona. The goal of the project is to better understand how electric vehicle owners use their cars. This data will help create durability tests that better match what customers are actually doing with their vehicles. By joining this study, owners will contribute to research and development efforts as we aim to understand the impact of everyday driving on electric vehicles. Participating is simple. We will install the sensors and data-logging equipment. Once installed, you can drive normally. The instrumentation does not affect the vehicle's operation and is out of sight. After one year, we will remove the equipment. No modifications or permanent changes will be made to the vehicle.
