I have been driving a Honda Clarity PHEV for two years. It has been a good car, but I'm ready now to move to all-electric. For an 81-year-old tall guy, the Clarity is less convenient for entering and exiting than my old Element, but I knew that going in. My question is what gas model Hyundai I could test drive to get the closest to the ionic in seat height, legroom, and overall feel. My dealer has a SEL RWD coming by the end of March, but I will have to make a decision without making a test drive--a first for me. My brother had a 2007 Sonata, which has now passed along to my grandson. It was very comfortable to enter and exit. If the Ionic 5 is similar in size to the Sonata, then that would answer my question.
