You have to ask how stupid and corrupt Toyota thinks the public policy people in CA actually are! You see in Diesel gate they just had some possessed software lie to the public to get people to pay a premium for cars that were actually substantially dirtier. This is the exact same thing. The idiocy here is thinking that Diesel Gate would act as a cover that no one would be blatant enough to try it again. So here they think apparently they can bribe a few people to place a bunch of dirty natural gas in what they claim to be boxes wrapped in paper thin directed bio-gas all coming out of the same pre-purposed natural gas pipe. The whole point is to get rid of dirty natural gas as soon as possible (ads about clean natural gas plastered on vehicles are obviously false advertising.) So this plant to produces hydrogen drinks right off a natural gas pipe line but because some directed bio gas is also directed into the pipe somewhere (which is claimed to be carbon neutral) people are supposed to be stupid enough to believe that it is not exorbitantly priced natural gas with secret hideous subsidies that is being pumped in and converted to hydrogen in the most incredibly in-efficient processes using much more unneeded natural gas than if i were just pumped into a dirty natural gas fuel cell. NO! They can cart this stuff in on a truck they can't be allowed to play these incredibly stupid and fraudulent games. Remember all their blather about producing hydrogen from solar (but presumably also using people's drinking water not gray water or sea water.) But in this article the blocking has to be pitched as SCE doesn't want to pay premium for directed biogas and is about SCE's profit- its nothing of the sort, its CA doesn't want the obvious incredibly stupid scam! I've driven nothing but Toyota for a while but I am of the opinion that Toyota should be kicked out of the state for even trying this and their stupidity of opposing CARB only reinforces that. One good thing Trump did was opposed the Trans Pacific Partnership because under that piece of crap a firm like Toyota for an out in the open blatant scam like this would be able to sue a state for (and have that supposed to mean something when we don't even have alien tort) when it tries to keep its population for abject total criminal exploitation. Hydogen needs to be banned in the state along with banning natural gas. If it is going to exist it needs so reasonable restrictions like it can only be produced on site and only from sea water and only with on site power from solar and it can't be shipped in pipelines. We should be ripping up these pipelines and making the fossil fuel companies pay to dispose of them. There is no right to recover a sunk cost in stupid. It is why oil is civil rights part 2 because its the same idiot right to exploit argument. South couldn't understand you can't traffic in people, descendants with the same mindset don't get there is no right to exploit or vicitimize as Jefferson Davis was demanding. There are no hand outs to save stupidity from the consequences of blind gluttony.
