Hi everyone, I am doing my own maintenance on all of my family vehicles and also on my 2018 Clarity. I couldn't figure out how to reset the maintenance reminder on my Clarity and wonder if anyone know how. Thank you
No problem; I do as much of my own maintenance as possible too. It’s on page 479 in the manual. 1.Set the power mode to ON. 2.Press the (display/information) button. 3.Press the “arrow L/arrow R” button to select the “wrench” icon, and press the ENTER button. 4.Press and hold the ENTER button for about 10 seconds to enter the reset mode. 5.Press “up arrow/down arrow” to select a maintenance item to reset, or to select All Due Items (You can also select Cancel to end the process). 6.Press the ENTER button to reset the selected item. 7.Repeat from step 4 for other items you wish to reset. My apologies, the icons did not copy over. I added the parts in quotes. Be sure to keep your receipts and document everything just in case you have a warranty repair later.
Thank you Kentucky Ken...I tried the "hold down enter button for 10 seconds" and that doesn't work then I started to playing around with the vehicle menu pages and this is what I come up with: 1.Set the power mode to ON. 2.Press the (home) button. 3.Press the "vehicle" button. 4.scroll down and select "maintenance information" 5.take note of which maintenance reminder and select that maintenance item to reset, or to select All Due Items (You can also select Cancel to end the process). 6.Press the ENTER button to reset the selected item. 7.Repeat from step 4 for other items you wish to reset. My owner manual referred to the same instruction as Ken but that doesn't work for me.
