How Ultra-Performance Tires Affect The Chevrolet Bolt In the linked article MotorTrend slapped a set of ultra high performance tires on their long-term loaner Bolt and saw a number of changes to performance, both good and bad. Now, it's obvious to me that they very went too far towards the performance side at the expense of efficiency, ride quality and noise. On the other hand, those stock Michelin Energy Saver A/S Green X tires don't sound like a joy either, so there must be a decent compromise out there. Have you tried, or thinking about trying a new set of shoes for your Bolt? Any specific tire on your radar?
