Is there a way to turn off the night time dimming of the rear view mirror? Not crazy about that feature.

You should be able to unplug the mirror

Might be a possibility...if you have a book light that you can have shine the light on the light sensor on the back of the mirror, it will consider it to be day time and not dim.

To unplug might prove difficult unless you enjoy getting into the headliner to find the plug-in?

If goal is to have it not dim, then just put a piece of black electrical tape on the sensor that sees the headlights behind you.

It will take 5 seconds to unplug the mirror as the plug is luckily on the back of the mirror not in the headliner. You will then need to tuck the wire up somewhere though.

  8. Note that once you unplug it, you'll have no dimming (there is no manual dimming). I'd wager that this mirror is from the parts bin, so a manual mirror from, e.g., a Civic or older Accord, would fit the mount.
