I've noticed insideevs articles are getting worse. Did someone buy this site? Feels like autoblog site.
What in particular don't you like? The contributors are mostly the same, though we do have a number of cross posts, usually about Formula E, from Motorsport.com, which ultimately owns the site. We do get the occasional post from Motor1, but it's more likely they use our stories.
I believe the Loveday brothers do. Mark Kane, who is the other main contributor, lives in Europe and I don't know what he drives. He, like all of us, is a big EV fan, though.
There's too much news for a few writers to do anything but passing press release style memos on a lot of the stories
I'm not really sure what you are referring to. Doesn't seem very different to me. Personally I'm not a fan of the EVANNEX articles since they're just fan boy puff-pieces. But they're not too egregious and I just ignore them.
And I was hoping to see a technical study of vehicle performance descending hills. <rim shot> As for news, I subscribe and follow: PriusChat Autoline Daily Insideevs Hybridcars Greencarcongress There is no single source but if you read or scan enough, you can see the big picture. Bob Wilson
Yup...quality of the articles is painful to read... As much as I'd love to just stop reading InsideEVs, it's annoying and frustrating that people are getting their information from a poor source like this. It just sets the whole movement towards electric vehicles back when people start going on about a topic just because they've read some article from here.
