    A word of caution on relying on breakers. The SE pulls up to 31A, even if the EVSE advertises more. If you are on a 30A circuit, it may or may not trip at 31A, depending on the quality of the breaker, due to how close you are to the limit. Granted, there is a safety net built even into the 30A rating of your wiring so 31A *should* be ok. But I would personally make triple-sure that the EVSE was set to 24A and the car wasn't pulling any more than that.

    Agree completely that relying on or EXPECTING to blow a breaker is bad juju. That's why I wanted to order one with hard settings for amp limit. I did order a Grizzl-e Smart and I think it is going to be delivered today.

    Too bad my Mini is not even given a birth date yet, so I may never actually get it.
