You've just discovered hybrids suck. I've had Hyundais (non-hybrid) that I've tried to kill and didn't succeed. Also my experience with the Kona EV is good (no issues; beats M3 LR at range with smaller battery, unless you get into fast driving; cheaper; what can I complain about?). Tesla is selling so many cars because they are serving a great (thirsty) market (EVs) and they were smart enough to secure resources and to create the plants to serve that demand. They deserve the money they make! (their EV market share is decreasing though) It's much more difficult to get your hands on a Hyundai EV than a Tesla. That isn't a valid argument that one is better than the other (even though in my opinion, one actually is). Also: the comparison between ioniq 6 and M3 is extremely far fetched. Ioniq6 has 10cm more passenger legroom than Model S! They're not even remotely in the same league.
