Wondering what others might be paying to take care of any open TSBs, after the warranty ends. The dealer tells me to expect diagnostic and service fees to take care of any that I want resolved--like the range error. Also, the A/C just quit, so I'm hoping it's the condenser, covered under the extended warranty for that item. But if it's something else, then I guess I'm on the hook. Experiences?
I'd see if they would do the TSBs as part of some other service. My condenser was replaced under warranty but previously heard estimates in the 1700ish range.
I would have thought that TSB's would always be on Honda's nickle. They have the same flavor as recalls (correcting for 'factory' errors / defects). Safety recalls are certainly covered by manufacturers. These TSB's are not necessarily safety, but it seems like they are Honda's 'fault'.
Found an explanation at repairpal.com: Recalls, TSBs, and Campaigns: Free or Do You Have to Pay? Unless for safety or emissions, after the warranty, the owner pays.
