Correct. Maybe the callback of some Fed Employees (the IRS was listed) to work without pay may get them working on finishing up some of the missing forms. Or maybe it won't be considered a critical part of the IRS function at this point. In past years, 8936 has been among the last to be completed. I don't expect that to change this year, so those looking to file for the credit may be in for a bit of a wait.
