Clarity is 3 weeks old and I started noticing a rattling sound. It's the sound of the passenger window glass rattling. Anyone hear this when going over bumps? Is it normal, maybe? I hear the glass rattling every time I go over a bump. Thinking of taking her in, but wanted to check if others are having this issue too.

    Thanks

Make sure it's the glass and not the dashboard rattling against the A pillar right in front of the passenger door. That's a common complaint on here and could very well be what you're hearing?

Yeah thanks I've checked. Its 100% glass rattle. I hear the dashboard sound on & off too. Any sound when driving on ev is a lot more annoying. Made an appointment for next week so lets see.

Also have them check the small triangular window at the base is the A pillar. Several posters have reported problems with it being loose or not well sealed.

Ok, I'll add it to the list. thanks

  6. I have the same problem, but on the drivers side. For me it’s the outside black cover over the b pillar. It’s held on with tape and has come lose. When I drive it flutters in the wind. I just need to take it in and get it fixed.

Just drove the car back from the dealer. They adjusted the right front pillar which seems to have solved the pillar rattle. However, the glass rattle still persists. Any idea if I can I take the car back in or will I have pay out of pocket?

  9. You are under factory bumper to bumper warranty. There is no charge for taking it back.

I notice a rattle in the passenger door, but it is very specific in the sense that it only happens on a gravel road that I drive often. I believe it is some kind of resonance effect that is triggered by the surface of that particular road. It's not yet annoying enough to bother trying to address, but if it gets worse I'll worry.

I also notice a rattle from somewhere on the passenger side, either door or intersection of dash and A pillar. I am going to get it checked out soon.
