Opel/Vauxhall will launch electric Corsa in 2020, electrify everything by 2024

  1. Fully Electric Corsa, Arriving in 2020, Announces Opel’s Intention To Electrify Everything

    Loosed from attachments to former owner GM, Opel/Vauxhall have announced its intention to "go electric," starting with its Corsa model in 2020. From there, they say, they will have electrified versions of every model by 2024.

    I read that as electric and PHEVs, alongside some ICE versions of certain models.

    The good news is that this doesn't just go for this brand, now that it's part of PSA, which also owns Peugeot, Citroën, and DS Automobiles there may be some electric cross-fertilization of these other brands. Citroën, I should point out, already has the E-Mehari (which I kinda want.)
