We have had our Kia Niro EV for one month today and we are already at 2500+ miles! We are still loving it! We are consistently getting over 4.1 mi/kwh (virtually all highway as we use our 2017 Leaf for all our city/commuter miles).

We have now had it in twice for service (not to the original dealership as they are several states away) and the service techs are so in love with it that one of them is actually driving out of state this weekend to buy one himself!

The first service was for the installation of the appliques around the door handles to protect the paint and for the splash guards (neither were on the vehicle at time of purchase and both were items we wanted). The second round of service was because we managed to be hit by a piece of debris on the road and cracked the windshield! Thank goodness we took out the extended coverage package on the glass because the windshield cost the same amount. And we completely lucked out because our local Kia dealership is amazing! They have EV certified techs (even though they can't sell the Niro EVs in our state) and had all the correct calibration equipment to recheck everything after installation.

Next up - having a ceramic clear coat applied to the Niro EV (since obviously I may have a knack for finding small flying objects and I would like to keep it looking nice for a while longer).
