Oil fill cap

  1. 8559BBF3-EB0F-4CF9-8B9A-48F8D110DB44.jpeg Would someone check their oil fill cap and determine if it sit flush in the hole or does it look like it sits slightly higher than it should be. Looks like if I could turn another revolution, it would be a more secure fit. Just checking. Probably nothing.

    My oil cap sits exactly the same. The oil cap screws into another tube which is inside the outer tube where you see the gap. The oil cap seals against this inner most tube.

    Not real sure what the function is of the outer tube/ring.
