When I turned on my car today for the first time in about a week, my dashboard showed multiple error messages including the check engine light, tire pressure, and brakes. This happened once before and later went away, and a Honda service person suggested that the issue was related to the 12v battery being fully depleted. I couldn’t replicate the issue for the Honda rep. My HondaLink app is also giving me notifications for the same errors. I’m wondering if this has happened to others, and how to reset these messages.

It happens when the battery is disconnected (or falls below a minimum voltage). Driving the car (takes a few minutes) will make the messages go away.

1i think it is time to have the 12 volt battery tested. Hydrometer and load test.

Ben, a quick search of this site will turn up multiple threads with the exact same description. I put my 12v battery on a battery tender for a few hours a week to keep it in good charge condition.
