There's a new Tesla Model X 1/4-mile record. Set on the weekend by Brooks Weisblat of Drag Times fame, he broke his own record of 11.418 seconds at 117.95 miles per hour, set against a Lamborghini Aventador last summer. Now, the electric SUV time to beat is 11.28 seconds @ 118.37 MPH. Pretty sure that this is a better time than any other stock SUV out there. The icing on this sweet, sweet cake is that the result was obtained while cleaning the clock of a new Jeep Trackhawk (11 city /17 hwy mpg).
