Are the battery percentages shown in home link app when discharged absolute SOC? I ask this because, I reach 100% SOC, when I charge with 14.5-15 KWH. So I know there is a reserve on top. On discharge, the it reaches 0 miles when battery SOC reach 10-12%. I have seen that go as low as 6% while driving the car on engine alone; after complete discharge. What is lowest you have observed have been in Honda link app? Is that absolute zero from battery standpoint? Thanks.
This has been discussed in other threads, and it's clear that we only have access to about 80% of the battery's capacity. Pure speculation to guess where the balance is (above/below/both), but my preference is to guess that Honda engineers know what will maximize the battery's longevity and avoid warranty replacement.
