Hi, I noticed an Outlander had been charging at a modest rate, ~3 kW, which seem slow for such a large vehicle and pack. So I checked: https://www.mitsubishicars.com/outlander-phev/2018/specifications - under "Main Battery Specifications" they show "Charging time: 240V /30A EVSE" -> 3.5 hours 2018-mitsubishi-outlander-phev-111847.pdf - shows "15 A (max)" . . . what we've measured So the sales web page is inaccurate unless there is a difference in the trims. Would any of the owners have heard anything? Thanks, Bob Wilson
The 30A EVSE will only able to deliver 15A, hence 3.5hs of charging time. (240V x 15A x 3.5h ~ 10kWh + lost). Tai
Actually I found it when an Outback was plugged into a 40 A EVSE I manage. The Outback is not accepting more than 16 A. I checked the Owner's Manual to see if it might be owner settable. Bob Wilson
