Hello Past summer, when I went at Hyundai change to summer tires, they did a couple of updates then... And I have been delighted to see a new automatic braking on car. Meaning than the car automatically slows down (increased break regeneration) when another car in front slowed or brake... This was NOT in cruise control, but regular driving, and it is not automatic urgent brake. Even if brake regeneration are at 0, it will increase / decrease automatically, depending of car in front also notice that the blue box showing the shift (0-3) becomes blue only when a car was detected in front, else is white Now, after changing to winter tires, and after the battery recall update, this feature is gone !! Box is always blue, never showing car presence in front, nor reacting to it Almost inpound my car after garage so I was suprised not to have this basic feature Now Hyundai has no idea what I am talking about or know about this feature Was that an upgrade / feature that was cancelled? Was that a bug? Did anyone had this during summer ? thanks
Yes just found the answer with this video It is a bit hidden - go to settings (while on park) - enter commodity - enable smart regeneration Now to switch on/off press for one second the right pad (regenerative break), and you will see the blue box turning to Auto Enjoy, Hyundai people did not even know this feature.
I was wondering why my regen box was sometimes blue and sometimes white! Sent from my iPhone using Inside EVs
This option gets reset after the (first) BMS update - took me a while wondering why it was behaving differently & remember there was a setting to eanble it.
Blue indicates it has detected the vehicle in front of you and may increase regen. White indicates it doesn't currently see anything in front of you and will use your set regen level.
