Kona EV after battery replacement following recall

  1. I just got my Kona EV back from the dealer following the battery replacement due to Hyundai global recall. I have been told to keep max charge to 90% for a few weeks.
    I will monitor the behaviour of this new battery to see if there is any noticeable change, especially on the range. So far, the car feels just like before.

    Congratulations. This is the first actual battery replaced that I have heard of . Many of us are waiting and many are driving loaner cars in the mean time. Good to hear it is starting to happen.

  6. Mine is back in service a few weeks ago. Very happy. Worth the wait. Great cars. Just getting a series 2 tomorrow.
