Issue #2: Water leak

  1. So after our 2019 Kona Limited was in the shop for 43 days with a heater issue, and about 2 weeks after agreeing to keep the car rather than having Hyundai buy it back, we discovered a water leak after a steady rain here in NY. Turns out the sunroof drain was not connected. Now we have a soaked header panel and floor carpeting on the passenger side.

    Is this car a true lemon and did we make a mistake not turning it back in. Yikes!!
