Inconsistent sound of screeching at low speeds 300 miles on the odometer.

Tonight while pulling into a parking lot I noticed a very LOUD sound of screeching almost like a brake pad scraping on metal. It would go away and then come back seemingly randomly. It didn't seem tied to anything except that around 10mph it shows up. Going over speed bumps makes the sound even more apparent. I'll take it in to a dealer next week to look over, but I don't know how I'll show them the sound when it's this inconsistent.

    Anything similar from anyone else?

I'm pretty sure it isn't, but just to be sure, it's not the "chord" sounds that plays at low speeds to warn pedestrians? It kind of sounds like scraping metal.

Nah, the pedestrian alert sound is far lower in volume than this sound is.

The dealer service center took it in. Apparently a rock had jammed itself in the brakes and started scraping the brakes/rotor. I asked how in the world it didn't come out during a 3hr highway drive and two days of 20 mile commutes they just shrugged it off.
That was a really bizarre end to that adventure.
