I cited the Tesla reports that AutoPilot is 8x safer than the NHTSA metric of accidents per million miles. My next letter suggested improvements: (1) environmental warning and alert in adverse weather like heavy rain; (2) deployment as a count or percentage of cars sold if standard and ignore extra fee, optional versions, and; (3) percent of highways and roads are usable. I have no idea if either email will be responded. I pointed out that in 2019 I bought my Tesla Model 3 and paid for optional AutoPilot.
