I'm trying to understand the options for a digital speed display on my 2020 EV. Here's what I think the manual is offering: Speed displays digitally in the center of the analog speedometer, but not in Normal drive mode. (Why not, Hyundai?) Can select speed display in the Trip Computer area, but not at the same time as navigation information. Can display a smaller sub speedometer in the center of the analog speedometer, but only in km/h, not mph. (Why not, Hyundai?) Do I have this right? Is the 2021 any different? (I have a HUD but am turning it off temporarily to see if I could get along without it on a 2022.)
I know it will display both in ECO and Sport modes, but not in Normal mode. Not sure about anything else....
It's because the outer "ring" display in sports and eco mode display power and eco-power. That's why they have digital speed displayed. In normal the speed is on that outer scale, so no digital speed. So there is a reason why, but is it perfect? Well ...
