Honda R&D Article on Development of PCU and Motor

Hello all. Here is a 2013 Honda technical paper I found on the development of the PCU and motor in the Sport Hybrid i-MMD in the 2014 plug in hybrid Accord. That’s the short lived offering that got 115 MPGe, 46 mpg, 13 miles EV range with a 2.0 L Atkinson engine. Sounds familiar doesn’t it.
I think it has a lot of info that seems to be applicable to our Claritys and I haven’t seen it posted here yet. So would the Clarity Brain Trust look at this and give us some feedback if it peels the onion back on our Claritys.
After reading it, I have a new found awe for all the engineering that went into our wonderful Claritys. And I freely admit it’s over the head of this old molecular biology guy’s head.

PS: I renamed the file with Clarity at the beginning so all my Clarity related PDFs are together. I think the paper is about the system in the 2014 PHEV Accord not the Clarity. But still is informative for us.
