Actually, the PDI states that warranty replacement is triggered by the Battery Pack Capacity Signal going below 36.6 Ah which is roughly 2/3s (66.5%) of the nominal 55Ah starting measurement.

Great info on that link. It indicates that it isn’t worth the effort to try to manipulate the designed charging protocol that is built into the car.
