Hi All, I lead product development for a company called WeaveGrid (www.weavegrid.com) and we work with major utilities to deliver financial benefits to EV owners, as well as better integrate EVs onto the grid (supporting renewable energy generation and grid stability). We're currently only supporting Tesla vehicles, but are looking to extend programs for Hyundai EV owners as well. To do this, we're looking for Hyundai EV owners to provide feedback on their experience with the vehicles and to participate in an R&D partner program we've introduced to accelerate development for Hyundai programs. Can you help me out with a 15 minute chat? (Happy to send a calendly link to make scheduling super simple - would just give you a call when convenient)
WeaveGrid appears to be a for-profit company. Will you be compensating us for our time and knowledge, or are you asking us to donate to your firm's future profitability?
Happy to compensate you for your time and consideration. Would a $50 amazon gift card be useful to you? With your support, we're hoping to bring programs to life that directly financially benefit you in the future as well.
Yeah - Canada works - would love to talk. I'll start a conversation with a calendly link to see if we can find a convenient time for you.
Actually - it seems I can't start a conversation with you, but if you'd be open to a 15-minute chat (and a $50 amazon gift card) - feel free to grab a slot that works here: https://calendly.com/d/w8br-4smj/weavegrid-r-d-partner-program-quick-overview, or feel free to ping me with other times that might work better for you.
When you've managed to embrace a little more EV ecosystem diversity, maybe more of us would be willing to talk to you. Most of us understand the Tesla fanboi mentality and are willing to let it run its course and suggest meaningful alternatives, even if they have their own issues. _H*
I'm in a program where my local electric utility can pause my JuiceNet-enabled EVSE when grid balance makes it desirable, as long as my desired departure time is met. Is that the sort of thing your company implements? Your website is rather coy on specifics.
Totally understand your concerns, hobbit - we're very keen to extend our EV ecosystem diversity - that's exactly why I'm here trying to connect with Hyundai EV owners. I'm looking for help to do so. Our objective is to make EV ownership easier and more affordable for all and don't have any principled preference for Tesla or other OEM, just want to help people transition to EVs generally. Happy to chat more if helpful!
Yes - we run programs along those lines - idea being to always keep drivers charged up, like you mentioned, while shifting charging to periods when generation may be cheaper, cleaner and present less grid stress. Happy to chat more about it if helpful.
Hi Paul - thank you so much for getting back to me. I appreciate your interest in chatting. Still happy to offer a gift card as a token of appreciation. Is there a 15-minute slot here that would be convenient for you? https://calendly.com/d/w8br-4smj/weavegrid-r-d-partner-program-quick-overview
