Took our Clarity in today to have SB 18-090 installed. I asked the service manager if he would mind performing the battery capacity test (since I didn't get the PDI with my car a year ago). He said "sure !" It literally only took 5 minutes to print the results. He offered to do it again after the SB work and charging the car to 100% (they actually had a 30A L2 charger) just for the heck of it, to see what differences there were. Attached are pics of the 6 page reports (left side pre SB, right side post SB). Took the dealer about 1 hour to do the SB. The battery capacity came in at 54.1Ah. Since I garage (unheated) my car 3 months out of the year in the Michigan winter the manager suggested I bring the car in for the complementary tests before I garage it and then again in the spring to see how the inactivity affects the test items. How is that for service? Sent from my SM-G955U using Inside EVs mobile app
Great news. Thanks for posting the results. For the record, I think this is only the second time we have a report of a dealer’s service dept offering such great service and a cheerful willingness to run the Battery Pack Capacity test.
Tell your dealer we think they are wonderful. These folks seem to know the real meaning of customer service.
