The Gigafactory, so named because it's expected to produce many gigawatts of energy storage a year, is a crucial part of Tesla's vertical integration strategy. Gigafactory One, outside of Reno, Nevada, is the first one. Below, checkout the latest drone video (Aug. 2017) of it.
The same guy also has done a fabulous flyover of the Fremont factory. Technically not a Gigafactory, this thing is more massive than I'd previously imagined, despite seeing quite a few pictures of it.
