    Hi,

I have been shopping for a portable EVSE:
    • Automatic, 120VAC or 240VAC operation
    • Default 12A @120VAC
      • Override default current so 120VAC can use 16A on a NEMA 5-20 circuit
    • Default 31A @208-240VAC
      • Override default current so 240VAC can use 24A on a NEMA 10-30 (dryer) circuit
I found some Chinese EVSEs that might work but they look doggy. There are a lot of dual voltage EVSE at fixed 16A which won't work with legacy wiring, NEMA 5-15. So I'm looking at OpenEVSE, Advanced, 40A that appears to have the hardware and an improved, water resistant case. The electrical hardware looks OK and it is rated dual voltage.

The control software, Arduino, potentially can be compiled from open source code. This would allow me to configure it for the automated, current limits. It already has code to change the current limit by a front panel button or WiFi interface.

I notice the home page has a link to ordinary EVSEs but this is something special that meets my requirements.
