Do the EV tail lights fit the PHEV?

    Because it's such a low-volume car, I assume Honda didn't want to manufacture a different set of rear fenders for each model of Clarity to go with model-specific taillight lenses. That's as close as I'll get to guaranteeing all Clarity-model taillight lenses are interchangeable.

    This is one of those ideas where you're pretty sure the answer is going to be yes, and then you take it apart and find out that the other lights have completely different connectors. This was the case with the regular gasoline Civic and the Civic hybrid (which also had clear tails).

    While I'm sure that the light itself will bolt up just fine, the harness connector may be wired differently, which is exactly what Honda did with the Civics. A possible way to check without having the actual light would be to look up the part number of the BEV harness and see if it's the same as the PHEV one.
