Being short, the B pillar is already behind me LOL. But what I liked about the 4 door is all the windows went all the way down at least. The back doors are almost never used anymore now that the youngest is a teenager. My Civic Si was a 2 door so I am going back to my more fun pre-pregnancy style in a way (mine was a 2003 Si so also a hatch). The 0-60 and handling are much improved on the Minis though.

Sure but the airflow is still terrible with four windows open. The Mini has great airflow with the windows and roof wide open.

Has anyone in CA successfully submitted the new 2022 model for CVRP?

I believe it shows only 2020-2021 on eligible vehicles but when u click on apply and start app, it lists 2022 also. I’m going to try and apply tonight.

  6. My dealer told me no such luck, MSRP or bust. Almost cancelled the deal in late Feb, but they didn't care. So I paid full. First SE sold in Northern Nevada, so they had me and they knew it. It's that kind of a dealership: old school, only BMW dealership within 150 miles. Talked me into an expensive bra. Sucker born on my birthday, that's for sure.

Don’t feel bad. It isn’t that common to get any car that you order under MSRP. The ones sitting on lots, sure. But ones ordered usually sell at full price, especially a new model like the SE.

Which is weird since the biggest risk to a dealer is buying a spec car and not selling off the lot before the end of the model year.

I test drove in Austin, since there was a 2021 on the lot for sale from a cancelled order. They wouldn’t budge on price. Dealer in southeast Houston caved on $500 off one I ordered.

  10. Yay! It only nags at me once in a while. So loving the car. Absurdly fun to drive.
