I agree. Builder is obviously broken so I wouldn’t really trust it at this point.

Builder is whacked. Spoke to my salesman. His understanding is the 2023s ordered with the 2022 configurator will be at the 2023 price. So it looks like the $250 on the gray I ordered last week will be switched to blue, and the price will be $1,000 more.

I am betting BMW is not going to backtrack like Rivian did, and I also am willing to bet the small print with our refundable $250 deposit says subject to change. BMW will probably offer the alternative, which is take the deposit back.

Your close personal friend, Mike Peyton, comes through at the end. I think.

Assumes it is not across the board that everyone gets hit with the increase. Hard to bytch with whats going on in Ukraine and Russia increasing cost of materials.

build codes seem to be random numbers & letters.

it is your specific build code. Mini advertising says each is born, and individual blah blah, this is just more of the same to make you feel special. your very own build code.

Yes, the configurator is not totally up to date. Just got back from my dealer. BRG should be in there. Anthracite headliner is $250 for Sig+. Cannot add Park Assist and Adaptive to Sig + due to shortage. I was able to change the dash for free.

Was your dealer able to tell you if you pay the price when you put the deposit down, or the new higher price?

For a pretty big company, Mini's build site always lags way behind actual sales changes, and WAAYYY behind on web testing before release. It's pretty sad. Same issues last year during the '21 to '22 switch.

Things look more normal today. Base price is the same. the 750 jump didnt happen today. the leather is back to 500. The headliner is still free. That may change. If the price goes down 1,000 from yesterday, I guess I can spring the 250 for the headliner.

I was able to keep the same price (I put deposit down in early feb) and not lose my place in line.

Yes, the headiner is an update that will change to $250. Also noticed they updated the pricing of the Parking Assist/Headsup to $950 form $1150 so the $250 for the adaptive is not baked in anymore (which you cannot get on Sig+ due to shortages).

mini.co.uk seems to be updated more timely, which I guess makes sense.
